Meredith Vincent, Assistant Coach

Meredith Vincent came to Emory in the fall of 2006 bringing both youth and experience, just a year removed from her senior year playing for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

In her two seasons with the squad, Vincent has helped the team to two UAA Championships, and two trips to the NCAA Division III Tournament, including a finish in the quartefinals in 2008. Vincent has been twice named part of the UAA Coaching Staff of the Year.

Vincent brings four years of Division I tennis experience. In the 2001-02 and 2002-03 seasons, she played for Virginia Tech before transfering to Ohio State for the 2003-04 and 2004-05 seasons.

In her senior year with the Buckeyes, Vincent played mostly No. 3 and No. 4 singles, while leading the No. 1 doubles pair. Her expertise is in doubles play, which is one of her main focuses with the Emory women.

A native of Cincinnati, Vincent has served as both the tennis pro and the teaching professional at the Hyde Park Tennis Club in Cincinnati, in addition to teaching at camps at College of Wooster, Denison University and Virginia Tech.

Vincent graduated from the Ohio State University in 2005 with a bachelors degree in psychology.
